JAPANESE HAIR STRAIGHTENING GUIDE

You can achieve a straight hair look through different methods—some last for a couple of hours while others months and some even years. However, a comparatively Japanese hair straightening process is one of the best out there. With this method, you can turn your hair into a healthy, sleek, and shiny look. Here is a little guide to one of the world's famous hair straightening methods.

JAPANESE HAIR STRAIGHTENING BENEFITS

Some of the benefits that the Japanese straightening consists of are,

· You get fabulous results that also last longer than any other straightening methods.

· You get soft, silky and glossing-looking hair

· Super straight locks with zero room for curls

· Maintaining your hair is a piece of cake after this treatment

HAIR TYPES THAT CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS TREATMENT

Don't jump into the decision to get your hair treated with this process just yet. You must know that hair types are the one factor that one must take into account before going for this method.

Almost every hair type can benefit from this treatment except for weak, brittle, damaged, or color-treated hair. If you have curly or wavy hair, those can benefit massively along with those tight coils that have a great result with the process. However, African hair may not go so well if straightened with this process. Speak to a consultant or expert before deciding to continue with the process.

As a piece of advice, stay away from Japanese hair treatment if you have either color-treated hair or chemically treated hair.

Recently colored hair can encounter some issues during thermal reconditioning. The reason is that thermal reconditioning can put strains on the hair, plus without the necessary build-up of protein, you may experience damage massively.

So, make sure you don't have colored hair and also wash with shampoo before you proceed.

As far as chemically treated hair is concerned, we are all well aware of how much chemicals can damage our hair if the use is exceeded. Since excess of anything is bad, do not get your hair treated with the Japanese hair straightening process after a chemically treated one already.

JAPANESE STRAIGHTENING AFTERCARE

When you are done with getting what you were craving for so long, remember if you wish the treatment to last longer, you will have to take care of it and follow proper instructions.

· Avoid moisture, any form of it, for the next 72 hours, from touching your hair to washing it. Stay away from the pool, the rain, shower, and even sweat.

· Do not apply any hair styling tool or accessory that adds pressure on the hair after 72 hours of straightening.

· Avoid items like clips or rubber bands and even tucking the hair behind your ears. All of that can make a permanent bend in the hair.
